Part of the vast Izmailovo Hotel Complex, built for the 1980 Olympic Games, the Izmailovo Alfa is a little more expensive than its sister properties, a policy it justifies with its extensive conferencing facilities and the high standards of top room categories. Located in the north-east of Moscow, the hotel offers very fast access to the downtown by metro.
The hotel’s 945 rooms range from low-cost options very basic furniture and fittings to really quite luxurious rooms on the Izmailovo Alfa’s Club Floor. All rooms are covered by complimentary WiFi access. The hotel also has a modern business center with large and flexible conference halls. Equally suitable for business travelers and tourists, the Izmailovo Alfa Hotel also has a wide range of concierge services, and several bars and restaurants on site. Other services, including fitness centre, are available nearby in other parts of the Izmailovo Hotel Complex. While you should not expect particularly friendly or attentive service at the Izmailovo Alfa, staff are efficient and mostly speak good English.
+ Nice large hotel located on the Red Sea. The breakfast buffet is GREAT! Good location, good beach, good facilities. Staff was more or less friendly, with some exceptions. Nice breakfasts.
- Noisy at evenings, especially when lots of people arrive. The hotel facilities are outdated. When the hotel is heavily booked it becomes too crowded everywhere and not nice to be.
